A community education project created to help residents understand the decisions shaping Farragut, Tennessee.
"Let's Talk Farragut exists to help residents stay informed, ask honest questions, and better understand the decisions shaping our town."
Let's Talk Farragut is a nonpartisan civic education initiative started by residents who believe that an informed community is a stronger community. We are not affiliated with any political party, candidate, or campaign.
Our work is focused entirely on education — helping everyday residents understand how local government works, what decisions are being made, and how they can participate in the process.
We believe that transparency and civic participation are not political issues. They are community values that every Farragut resident can share.

The decisions made at Farragut's Board of Mayor and Aldermen meetings affect your roads, your property, your schools, and your quality of life. Most residents never hear about these decisions until it's too late to weigh in.
Farragut holds regular public meetings where zoning, development, budgets, and policy decisions are voted on — often with little public awareness.
Meeting minutes, budgets, contracts, and official documents are public records. Every resident has the right to access them — but few know how.
Residents who show up, ask questions, and submit public comments have real influence on local decisions. Civic participation works.
We publish plain-language explainers, issue summaries, and educational content that helps residents understand how local government works.
We research public records, track meeting decisions, and surface information that residents have a right to know.
We create space for honest, respectful dialogue about the issues affecting Farragut — without partisan spin.
We track candidate records, voting history, and official decisions so residents can hold their representatives accountable.
There are many ways to support civic education in Farragut — from reading public records to attending meetings to supporting our work financially.
